Ingredients
3 cups of flour
1 teaspoon of salt
1/2 cup of margarine
1/2 cup of crisco
1 egg
1 tablespoon of white vinegar
3 - 4 tablespoons of ice water
Directions
Combine flour and salt in a chilled mixing bowl.
Cut in shortening and margarine until it resembles coarse meal. Whisk egg and vinegar together and stir into flour mixture.
Add ice water, 1/2 tablespoon at a time, into the flour mixture and use a fork to stir until dough barely holds together. Form dough into a large ball.
Wrap dough up with plastic wrap and place in refrigerator for 30 minutes.
